It took a long time for him to say nothing. Yes, he did do the politicians dance, he (tried to) joke with the reporters who were throwing him SOFT questions and he still came of like a rock, (only dumber).
If I were in the Rose Garden, I would have suggested:
Let's fix Democracy in this country first.
It's plain to see why G.W.Bush...is America's bridge to the 11th century.

The Rev. Jerimiah Wright, Black activist
I never thought it would come to this... Rev. Wright, the pastor of Barrack Obama's church, the man who endorses Louis Farakan and blames the U.S. A. for 9/11, blames the Jews for everything bad the black man sees in the U.S.A., and who preached, "God Damn the U.S.A., has benn given ABUNDANT air time on CNN and MSNBC and is preaching a POLITICAL message in favor of his friend and follower, Barrack Obama. Enough is enough! Oprah Whinfrey started this competition on the basis of RACE and Rev. Wright continues it on the same basis. The Rev. Wright claims that GOD SAYS: "CHANGE, IS WHAT IS NEEDED IN GOVERNMENT". ( I really did not hear God say that. In fact, I thought that GOD stayed out of politics.) But not according to Jerimiah Wright,...AND I WILL BET MY SOCKS THAT BARRACK PICKS UP ON THIS MESSAGE FROM GOD IN HIS SPEECHES. BARRACK OBAMA WILL BE PROTRAYED AS THE "CHOSEN" CANDIDATE,...CHOSEN BY GOD AND REV. JEREMIAH WRIGHT.
Let me make something perfectly clear. I,....am green! It isn't easy being green,...but I know you have heard the story,...so BLACK, WHITE, or PURPLE, (OR lAVENDER IF YOU PREFER), is of NO CONSEQUENCE TO ME AND DOES NOT ALTER MY LOGIC.
The truth is, BARRACK OBAMA, does not have the qualifications to be President of the United States of America. He is a first term Senator from Illinois who has voted "PRESENT" more time than he has voted "YAY' or NAY" at the Senate for any legislation that has come up. He is a fakir, a phoney and yes, HE IS BLACK,...(OR PARTLY BLACK.) What bothers me is that his support is coming MOSTLY from the black community. The Mavins are at it again!
INFLATION is eating us alive and food prices are reaching a level of UN-affordability. It's all over the news,....at least in Africa the people have the good sense to RIOT,....while WE sit on our thumbs. A farmer on CNBC said: "We farmers deserve higher prices for corn and soy beans." WHY? WHY DO THEY DESERVE HIGHER INCOMES WHEN WE ARE HURTING? On top of the higher prices,..THEY GET GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES. WHY? Subsidies are WELFARE FOR THE FARMERS. Again WHY?
Farmers large and small own lots of land, they are LAND BARONS, they are not poor.
Farming is a part time job; they till, they plant, they wait, they grow and finally they harvest. Usually, in their waiting mode they work in high paying jobs as heavy equipment operators.
Ethanol from food crops is partly to blame for the increased prices at the food stores. The farm lobby did a great job in BUYING our Senators and Congressmen to vote on Ethanol from food crops as a SUBSIDIZED bonanza for the growers. ANd THEY, whomever THEY may be are developing seed that will produce increased yields from an acre of land,...by significant amounts. If they net greater yields per acre, will our food prices go down. NO WAY! THE GREEDY FARMERS WILL WANT TO POCKET THAT AND SAY,..."WE DESERVE IT!" Then they will purchase more land so that they may receive more subsidy from the government. (read you and I,...or should that be , you and me?) I want to know where is OUR VIGORISH? How do WE get a piece of the action?
Maybe we should ALL GO AND APPLY FOR WELFARE. I FEEL THE NEED TO GET SOMETHING BACK.

WE ARE SCREWED!
Unfortuneately,....we are. This week I have spoken to: the office of Senator Mel Martinez, the office of Senator Bill Nelson, the Department of Agriculture, Florida consumer complaints, EPA Atlanta, the office of Congresswoman Ginny Brown
Waite, Florida Public Service Commission and Consumer Information Control. What I found out is: Ethanol is mandated in the State of Florida and should be in place, full swing, by August of 2008. I had previously written about Ethanol, specifically corn based ethanol, being blended with gasoline to power your cars. As I have noted previously: IT IS A SCAM, IT IS COST IN-EFFECTIVE, IT IS INFERIOR AND MORE EXPENSIVE TO PRODUCE THAN GASOLINE, and it is rapidly becoming a billion dollar business. Why is our "wonderfully pragmatic" Congress promoting corn based Ethanol to be used as an additive in gasoline. Are they ALL farmers and reaping the huge profits currently paid for corn? PLUS THE GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES THAT THEY RECEIVE FROM THE GOVERNMENT,....(read from us), the taxpayers. Hey,...why not. They, the congress are bailing our the banking industry with OUR tax dollars, giving a GIFT TO THE DEVELOPERS, with our taxdollars, and making a charade of HELPING THE STUPID INVESTORS WHO PURCHASED HOMES AT INFLATED PRICES WITH NO MONEY DOWN AND INSUFFICIENT INCOMES TO SUPPORT THE MORTGAGE,....with taxpayer dollars,...our money.
The lesson to be learned is NOT TO BE A RESPONSIBLE PERSON WHO WILL BORROW MONEY THAT WE ARE ABLE TO REPAY but to suck on the government teat as much as possible and sucker those that are responsible so that we, the "suckees" can benefit on their backs. AREN'T WE STUPID! And doesn't our Congress think so.
Now, about "the poor farmers." Sometime, back in the early "30's, (I think) the government SUBSIDIZED FARMERS TO GROW FOOD CROPS so that the nation might be fed at reasonable cost. CORN FOR ETHANOL IS NOT A FOOD CROP, so why is the government SUBSIDZING the farmers for this product. Small farmers usually own lots of land, perhaps 300 to 500 acres of land. In reality, he is a land baron and one day he will sell out to one of our SUBSIDZED DEVELOPERS and become a multi-millionaire. SO MUCH FOR FEELING SORRY FOR THE "POOR FARMER". I think that COMMUNISM is a more honest way of government than is; SUBSIDIZATION!
OK! I told you some weeks ago about the SCAM that Ethanol from corn really is. Now, in the April 7 issue of TIME Magazine is a very in depth article by Michael Grunwald supporting my thesis. Who said that Frogs were not smart?
I recommend that you write to your Senators, your State Representatives, your friends and your relatives and let all of them know that YOU KNOW that you are being stuffed by our government at the local level and at the Federal level.
RIBIT, RIBIT, AND I HOPE THE BAHSTARDS THAT ARE DOING THIS INJUSTICE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE GET HEART BURN.

MORE OF THE SAME
C-SPAN is carrying the interview of General David Portrayer, (no I did not misspell his name, he is a "portrayer, ....read bullshit) and the bumbleing, stumbleing Ambassador "Chowderhead" Ryan Crocker. NOthing has changed, more flag waving, more ducking of the issues, more lies about "progress" and lots of reserve. Stuff like: sure we have to do better but compared to,....????? what, Gengis Kahn?
The Republicans on the committee speak soft questions and many compliments for "their service". THEIR SERVICE? This is their job, they get PAID FOR DOING WHAT THEY DO which is,... ..nothing or very little. (WELL, nothing shows does it?)
Ambassador ""Chowderhead" is probably the worst and most boring speaker that I have ever listened to. It is no wonder to me that the Iraqi leadership can manipulate him and consequently US with a jerk like crocker as our lead man in the area. The scare tactics prevail as I listen. Stuff like,...it's better to fight our enemy "over there" than over here. Do you buy that? I don't! Terrorism is a product of George W. and his neo-con thugs. THEY want to tell other soveriegn nations how THEY should live and behave and all the while we try to conive a way to steal THEIR RESOURCES,.....OIL. AM I TOO CYNICAL? Maybe, maybe not.
I really can't go on with this. There is so much more. There is so much treachery, so many hidden agendas and so much PROFIT being made by some. Hopefully some one with more spring left in their step than I will pick up my fallen banner and run with it. We need you.

Let's look at the good old USA- Unemploytment is UP, consumer confidence is DOWN, net spendable take home pay, ie: buying power is DOWN,. THE SURPLUS HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH THE LARGEST DEFICIT OF ALL TIME. Our grandchildren and great grandchildren will be forced to pay off this debt that we have created. THE ECONOMY IS IN A SHAMBLES and the future is bleak. Our schools fall behind in the race with education in foreign countries. What proffession would you advise your grandchildren to enter?
WE HAVE KILLED MORE THAN 4,000 YOUNG PEOPLE, maimed countless thousands of the best and bravest. We replaced our soldiers with high priced mercenaries. We have REDUCED the benifits available to the VA for our returning fighting men. We are witnessing an unparalleled in oil ;costs as a percentage of GNP. The government ignores the plight of the (albeit stupid) investor/homeowner but protecting the bankers and investing counselors who brought it about. We make it more difficult for the individual to file for protection under bankruptcy. Our bridges fall down while we spend billions on war. We do nothing aboutr the uninsured millions without medical insurance.
But George continues to look out for our moral conscience ass he continues his fight against a womans right to choose. AND he has packed the Supreme court with people that agree with him.

I can't understand how we can have a party so willing to shoot themselves in the foot at every election.

The IDIOTS are at it again!
OK! They can be either Republicans or Democrats,...THEY are ALL IDIOTS.
CHRIS DODD, HARRY REID, and their bi-partisan friends now want to BAILOOUT the DEVELOPERS and others WITH TAXPAYER MONEY. NOT THEIR MONEY,..OUR MONEY. Of course they want it to be a BI-PARTISON VOTE for when they cripple this countries financial abilities with all of these TAXPAYER BAILOUTS,...they can shout loudly that " IT WAS A BI-PARTISAN EFFORT," "BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE", "WE DID IT WITH BI-PARTISAN APPROVAL". First it was 250 BILLION TO BAIL OUT GOLDMAN SACHS WITH TAXPAYER MONEY, (don't you believe the 32 BILLION that the media is reporting although that ain't chopped liver either, it was initially reported as 250 BILLION DOLLARS OF YOUR MONEY AND MY MONEY. They cannot do that,....but they did. Now? How many more BILLIONS to "help the poor fools that spent more than they earn and gambled on Real Estate as their key to riches. THE REALTORS TOLD THESE POOR FOOLS: "REAL ESTATE NEVER GOES DOWN." BULLSHIT! But now,...the developers are to be "bailed out?" Discrimination against ANYONE is still discrimination
I subscribe to the NY Times, The Washington Post and to USA Today and I am no smarter today then I was when I did not subscribe. Why is that? Maybe because when I select a story to read IT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. BUMMER!
On 3/28/08 there was a published story on an Israeli court's acceptance of SEPARATE ROADS FOR PALESTINIANS TO USE AND HOW IT WAS " PERHAPS" THE BEGINNING OF LEGAL APARTHEID.
PERHAPS? I think definitely so. (I would encourage everyone to read President Jimmy Carter's book entitled: "PEACE NOT APARTHEID". You will understand more about the Israeli/Palestinian problem than you ever were aware of.) But back to my schtick! Why was this article pulled off of the internet? Is it because THEY don't want US to know what is going on over there? Is this what the Elliot Spitzer song and dance is all about,..a smokescreen to hide the REAL NEWS of the day. Who cares about a guy who hired a prostitute? But I do care about the Middle East and what is happening there.
I am a strong advocate of FAIRNESS, a word that this administration doesn't even know how to spell. I cry over the deaths of American troops, Israeli victims, Palestinian victims and Iraqi victims. We are all God's people. (I don't want you to think I am a religious nut for I am NOT!) I could continue on this subject for days but I know that I would offend someone if I did. That is NOT my intent. I just want to become knowledgeable about what is going on and I want the news reported WITHOUT BIAS and not the report of someones personal agenda.
