WE ARE SCREWED!

Unfortuneately,....we are. This week I have spoken to: the office of Senator Mel Martinez, the office of Senator Bill Nelson, the Department of Agriculture, Florida consumer complaints, EPA Atlanta, the office of Congresswoman Ginny Brown
Waite, Florida Public Service Commission and Consumer Information Control. What I found out is: Ethanol is mandated in the State of Florida and should be in place, full swing, by August of 2008. I had previously written about Ethanol, specifically corn based ethanol, being blended with gasoline to power your cars. As I have noted previously: IT IS A SCAM, IT IS COST IN-EFFECTIVE, IT IS INFERIOR AND MORE EXPENSIVE TO PRODUCE THAN GASOLINE, and it is rapidly becoming a billion dollar business. Why is our "wonderfully pragmatic" Congress promoting corn based Ethanol to be used as an additive in gasoline. Are they ALL farmers and reaping the huge profits currently paid for corn? PLUS THE GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES THAT THEY RECEIVE FROM THE GOVERNMENT,....(read from us), the taxpayers. Hey,...why not. They, the congress are bailing our the banking industry with OUR tax dollars, giving a GIFT TO THE DEVELOPERS, with our taxdollars, and making a charade of HELPING THE STUPID INVESTORS WHO PURCHASED HOMES AT INFLATED PRICES WITH NO MONEY DOWN AND INSUFFICIENT INCOMES TO SUPPORT THE MORTGAGE,....with taxpayer dollars,...our money.

The lesson to be learned is NOT TO BE A RESPONSIBLE PERSON WHO WILL BORROW MONEY THAT WE ARE ABLE TO REPAY but to suck on the government teat as much as possible and sucker those that are responsible so that we, the "suckees" can benefit on their backs. AREN'T WE STUPID! And doesn't our Congress think so.

Now, about "the poor farmers." Sometime, back in the early "30's, (I think) the government SUBSIDIZED FARMERS TO GROW FOOD CROPS so that the nation might be fed at reasonable cost. CORN FOR ETHANOL IS NOT A FOOD CROP, so why is the government SUBSIDZING the farmers for this product. Small farmers usually own lots of land, perhaps 300 to 500 acres of land. In reality, he is a land baron and one day he will sell out to one of our SUBSIDZED DEVELOPERS and become a multi-millionaire. SO MUCH FOR FEELING SORRY FOR THE "POOR FARMER". I think that COMMUNISM is a more honest way of government than is; SUBSIDIZATION!

OK! I told you some weeks ago about the SCAM that Ethanol from corn really is. Now, in the April 7 issue of TIME Magazine is a very in depth article by Michael Grunwald supporting my thesis. Who said that Frogs were not smart?

I recommend that you write to your Senators, your State Representatives, your friends and your relatives and let all of them know that YOU KNOW that you are being stuffed by our government at the local level and at the Federal level.

RIBIT, RIBIT, AND I HOPE THE BAHSTARDS THAT ARE DOING THIS INJUSTICE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE GET HEART BURN.

P.S. Did I mention that Corn for Ethanol is creating food shortages and consequently MUCH HIGHER FOOD PRICES? I didn't,.....maybe my next blog.
